HM Procureur & HM Receiver General

Megan M.E. Pullum, KC, LL.B.(Jt Hons), LL.M. Admitted as a Solicitor to the Supreme Court of England and Wales, 1996 and to the Guernsey Bar, 2006. Appointed Queen's Counsel 2012. Appointed HM Comptroller (Solicitor General) and HM Deputy Receiver General for Guernsey in 2012 and as HM Procureur (Attorney General) and HM Receiver General for Guernsey in 2016. Accredited Globis Employment and Workplace Mediator 2011.

Megan specialises in public law and has wide ranging experience of advisory, drafting and advocacy work. Prior to coming to Guernsey she practised in England and Wales as a UK government lawyer in a broad range of contentious and non-contentious work. She also spent some time in Brussels practising in EU law and worked as a law lecturer. Megan initially worked in Guernsey as a litigator in private practice before being appointed as Legislative Draftsman (and later employment lawyer) for the Law Officers.  In her current role she exercises various independent functions on behalf of the Bailiwick including quasi coronial functions.

Megan is a former member of the Law Society's EU Committee and a current member of the Editorial Board for the Jersey and Guernsey Law Review. She lectures in EU law and its applicability to the Bailiwick for aspirants at the Guernsey Bar. Languages: French
