Guernsey achieves ongoing EU adequacy status

Lawyers from the Law Officers Chambers have worked closely with the States of Guernsey's Data Protection team to achieve ongoing EU data adequacy status. Data adequacy means that the EU views the Bailiwick's legislative framework as ensuring an adequate level of protection for data flows from the EU to the Bailiwick, which is of crucial importance both for Bailiwick businesses and public authorities.
